Georgia Aquarium

Our first outing during vacation was to the Georgia Aquarium. The girls loved seeing all the fish! It was amazing to see how big some of those sharks were! There was a tunnel that we walked through that made it seem like you were in the ocean with all the creatures swimming around you. Elsa was cutting teeth, though, and she let us know at the end of the day that it was TIME TO GO HOME! If you haven't heard the story already, Elsa screamed us out of the aquarium. We thought we would have time to look at the gift shop at the end of the day but no...Elsa wouldn't have it! She screamed and people plugged their ears as we walked as fast as we could out the doors!

Inga trying to pet the sharks and sting rays. Her poor little arms were just too short!

See the two white flashes behind those random people? That's the thickness of the aquarium glass. 2 feet!

A swordfish.

The girls' intial reactions to being at the aquarium.

This is Inga and me checking out the gigantic aquarium window. You'll see us, and then a huge fish, and then the whale shark. It's enormous!
