Matching Dresses

The girls are now fitting into a couple beautiful dresses that were given to them by Aunt Shelby. We decided we should get a few pictures of the little beauties. If only they would both cooperate every time we wanted to get pictures of them!

Elsa is all smiles...Inga is grumping.

Inga decided to warm up after I offered her gum if she would smile.

Then she started having fun with it!

Both girls making faces.

Silly girls!

Beautiful smile, Inga!

Elsa's big, cheesy grin!

Elsa's Bib

Elsa is turning into a little entertainer. After most meals, Elsa flips her bib over her head and makes sure we all look at her. She is such a silly girl! I decided we should get a couple pictures to share with all of you!

Look at me!

I'm a silly goose!

Play Group!

When Inga was only about 6 months old, we were invited to join a play group with three other mommies and their children who were all about the same age. Since then, all the older kids have gained a little sister and two of the families will be adding new babies this fall. We were missing one family at our last play date but still decided to take a couple pictures to update how the children have grown.

Elsa, Mattie, Rory (who wouldn't be in the picture without Mommy, Sarah) and Inga. Rory's older brother Rowan didn't want to be in the picture. Maybe next time!

One more...but with Rory hiding her face!

Inga's First Day of Preschool 2010-2011

Inga has started back to preschool! We are at a new school this year which has been an adjustment but Inga is becoming more comfortable with it. Elsa loves it, though, and tries to get me to leave her with Inga every morning. Next year, Elsa!

Big Sister ready for school...with Little Sister trying to be just like her!

Of course Elsa couldn't let Inga get her picture taken alone!

Ready to go!

The Many Faces of the Schoenbeck Girls

Elsa has created a new game in our house. She makes faces and I take pictures of them so she can look at them and then have a big reaction over what she was doing. It's pretty cute and Inga has decided to join in on the fun. Here are some of the latest face I have gotten from the girls.

Elsa's happy face.

Silly faces...Inga didn't realize that when her head is down like that I can't see her face!

Trying to be scary!

Inga is acting like a dolphin and Elsa is flying.

Now Elsa's turn to be a dolphin. Apparently she's a mean dolphin!

Inga is a nice dolphin.

Elsa's funny face. Not to be confused with her silly face.

Inga's silly face.

Inga's scared face.

Elsa's mad face. And no, she wasn't really mad. It is all part of the game.

Elsa's zombie face. Maybe Uncle Louie could use her in his next movie?

Elsa's silly face.

Trekin' for Brekin

Inga, Elsa, and I joined our friends, the Nieterts, on the annual Heart Walk for Linn County. Their son Brekin is Elsa's age and was born with four heart defects. We walked to support and raise awareness about heart disease. The walk was a lot of fun, even though it started down-pouring in the middle of the walk! The girls had a great time before, during, and after the walk with Brekin and his older brother, Payson, who is Inga's age.

Elsa in the bounce house before the walk.

Inga in the bounce house.

Elsa after the walk. A little wet, only a small bump on her head from her nose dive during the walk, but happy to have a snack!

Inga and Payson after the walk. They held hands most of the walk. Such good friends! Inga also had a couple stumbles on the walk but was able to quickly shake them off and keep going!

Inga imitating Payson. We've seen him make this face many times!

Inga and Payson again. Drenched buds!

Elsa was a bit tired after the walk!

Our Little Angel

Garage sales have been good to us this week! Here's Elsa in a brand new angel costume I found at one sale for $2.00. She loves it and had a great time playing in it when we got it home.

Concentrating on getting stickers off the sheet so she can put them on her feet. Elsa likes to make sticker sandals.

A big smile from my little angel!

Naughty Geese!

We went to the park to feed the ducks and geese. We should have known there would be trouble when we got out of the car...the birds all started flocking to us! It didn't take long for them to take over the feeding situation. Next time we'll have to be more prepared!
