At the Playground With the Hines Family

We met Damon, Alicia, Gracie, and Josie at Bowman Woods playground.  Inga loved going for a ride in the carrier.  She and Gracie play so well together!  Once Josie and Elsa grow up a little more, they should do just as well together.  It's so nice to have two girls to play with that are the same ages as our girls.  And for those of you who don't know, Alicia and I grew up together so that makes it even more special!  Who knows, maybe our girls will be in show choir together?!

Andrea's Flight

Through the Guard Base, I was able to fly in a KC-135 to watch an in-air refueling of an F-16.  It was such a neat experience!  And it was so weird to fly sideways.  However, it was the smoothest landing I have ever experienced.  We had to wear earplugs the entire time because it was so loud.  You'll be able to tell when you watch the videos.  Hope you enjoy all the videos and pictures!

Decompression air mask...or should I say hood?  This one goes over your head as you can see in the picture on the left.  It kind of looks like a giant pencil top.

This is where we watched the refueling.  There is room for three.  One on each side and one in the middle.  It is actually pretty comfortable down there!

We spent an afternoon with Amber, Payson, Brekin, and Jeremy.  Jeremy was visiting from England but was happy to play with the kiddos.  The girls always love getting together with the boys.  This time was no different.
