Inga's First Dance Class

Inga had her first dance class this morning. She, again, was very excited about going. She had a great time and can't wait to go back next weekend! At the beginning of the lesson the teacher had all the kids sit in a circle on the floor but Inga preferred the teacher's lap. She just made her way right in! It was very difficult for me not to keep peeking through the window to watch her. They don't want us Mommies watching since it distracts them during class but I couldn't resist a few peeks...and even a couple pictures! For the first half of the class they focus on ballet and the second half is tap. When Inga came out to get her tap shoes on, she ran to me yelling, "Mommy, I'm dancing!" I love to see her excitement.

Inga's First Day of Preschool!

Yes, our little girl is growing up! Inga started preschool today. She was so excited about going and had a wonderful time while she was there. I was able to take some time off work to take her and Jason walked over to the school from his office to see Inga off. (His office is just a couple blocks away!) We were able to get these two pictures of Inga before she went into the building and ran off without even a good-bye! We were a little dumbfounded...we figured there would be some hesitation on her part. We went in after her and got to say good-bye to her but she was happy as could be to be there! She can't wait until Thursday!

A Day with the Haags

We spent an afternoon at Cherry Hill Park with the Haags which was then followed by dinner at Happy Joe's. We hadn't seen the Haags in a very long time so it was nice to catch up and see how the kids have grown. The girls had a very fun time playing with Addison. We'll have to wait a while for Gable to join them.

Elsa found her hat we bought at the zoo in Atlanta and made it her own. She put it on and had a great time wearing it around the house.

Fun Around the House

After bath time the girls love to run around the house in their towels...and then eventually in nothing. They were having so much fun the other night trying to stay away from me as I chased them to get their pajamas on them!

Preschool Open House

Inga will be starting preschool in a couple days and last week they had an open house to drop off supplies, meet other kids, preview the center, and meet the teachers. Inga didn't want to go at first but at the end of the evening, we had to pry the toys out of her hands and we walked through the parking lot with Inga screaming, "I go back to my school!"
