Where Dutin?

I had an interview this morning so Mom watched the girls while I was gone. We pulled into my parents' driveway and Inga immediately asked me, "Where Dutin?" He had been at the garage sale at their house the previous weekend. I told her I didn't know. Her response? "He dwink Mount Dew." I guess she knows him pretty well!

Grr!

Elsa's mean face!

Backyard Swimming

The backyard swimming pool has been set up and the girls are loving it! Inga was very excited to jump in. Elsa on the other hand was a bit nervous at first but has finally come around. The girls were having a great time playing together on this afternoon.

If you have been around Inga lately I'm sure she's told you about her tattoo. She tells everyone!

The perfect set up!

Glenn Miller Orchestra

Early in the summer we went to the Glenn Miller Orchestra concert downtown. The girls loved the music and the free popcorn! Inga was especially excited to see the trains go by a few times.

4th of July

This year for the Fourth we went to the Kernels game with the Hineses.  The girls did a great job of sitting through the entire game in a very crowded space.  The game was packed and the adults each had a child to share seats with.  After the game was over, the kids were allowed to run around on the field and meet the players while we waited for it to get dark enough for the fireworks.  We took the girls down but they just ran around the field.

Inga was actually marching in this picture.

Doing somersaults.

Playing Hide-and-Go-Seek...in the open ball field.

Watching the other kids playing catch.

Both girls were scared to death of riding in the fire truck.

Our First Sparklers

The girls saw their first sparklers and loved them!  I wish we had gotten a picture of their faces when we lit the first one.  They were in awe.  Inga wanted to try them on her own so Jason taught her how to hold them.  She had a blast and Elsa loved watching.

Elsa and Nana.

We told Inga to wave the sparkler...instead she waved at us!

She flung one of them too hard and the middle of it flew out and landed in the grass.

Dr. Elsa

Whenever Elsa sees the doctor kit, she grabs the stethoscope and immediately puts it around her neck.  It's official...she's going to be a doctor!  (She is also pretty obsessed with shoes so maybe we shouldn't got too ahead of ourselves.)

Big smile!
