Poor Elsa's Head

As many of you know by now, Elsa had a little accident last weekend.  Jason was packing for Guard Duty and Elsa was playing on our bed.  She fell off and hit her head on my nightstand.  It gave us quite a scare!  There was so much blood.  We grabbed both the girls and ran up to the nearby Urgent Care clinic.  Once we were able to get the bleeding to stop she was just her usual self!  I was sure she would need stitches but luckily it only needed to be glued.  Elsa was such a trooper!  She hardly cried at all.  We are hopeful that there isn't too much of a scar after she is all healed.

The stance that got her into trouble in the first place!

Her cut.

Elsa with the rarely seen Band-Aid.  She kept pulling the darn thing off!

Just as happy as can be!

A big smile from Elsa after she made it up the stairs all by herself!

Cake...the Day After

We'll start with some pictures from the park.  These are just a few from Noelridge.  We went there to feed the ducks but evidently, ducks don't like Cheerios.  The fish on the other hand loved them!  After our attempt at feeding the ducks, we played at the playground.

Elsa with her very dainty cake face.  She decided the day after the party that she would eat the cake.  Maybe she was too intimidated about eating in front of everyone.  After all, everyone was watching her!  This is as messy as she got with it.  Yup, she's a girlie girl!

Elsa's First Birthday

We can't believe that it has been a whole year since Elsa came into our lives.  She is growing up so fast and the time is going by so quickly!  Jason and I took time to reflect on that exciting night of going to the hospital to have Elsa.  It was such a different experience than it was with Inga.  The girls delight in each other so much and we couldn't be happier to see two sisters love each other as much as Inga and Elsa do.

The cake.

The Birthday Girl.

The cake and the Birthday Girl.  They didn't mix.  Elsa wanted nothing to do with the cake.

Our Little Walker, Our Little Worker

Elsa is hard at work.  She loves to take items and put them in the hole in this stool.  She was at it for about 5 minutes in this video.  Don't worry.  I didn't film it for that long!

Elsa has taken off!  This video is from a while ago when she first started walking.  These days, though, she is walking all over!  One of her favorite things to do is walk circles around the ottoman in the living room.
