Emma's New Chew Toy

Emma has discovered a new chew toy...Inga's foot! Inga loves it, though. Her laugh is so contagious!

And A Few More Pictures...

One more batch of the goings on at our house.  We'll try to do better next month with keeping the blog updated!

Elsa's first bottle of formula.  Makes me sad!

Big Hearts for a Little One

On February 7th, the girls and I attended the benefit for our friend Brekin. Brekin is a couple weeks younger than Elsa and was born with three heart defects. When I taught in Springville, I taught with Brekin's parents Amber and Joe. Payson, Brekin's older brother, is Inga's age. Obviously, Amber and I spent a lot of time being pregnant together!
The benefit was held to help his family with his medical costs from a recent surgery and for future surgeries he will undergo. He is a champ and is continuing to do well. You may remember the post from last month of him on Good Morning America. If not, go back and check it out. I tried to get a good picture of the girls together in their shirts from the benefit but they weren't too cooperative. The front says, "Big Hearts For A Little One" and the back says, "We Have a Big Heart".

Inga admiring the bunny that was being auctioned off. I told her no, that Emma would kill it but she kept trying!

The best I could do of both of them in their shirts.

Take Us With You!

Inga was trying to crawl into Jason's Guard backpack so he decided to just put her in. We should have tried putting both girls in! At least we kniow Inga will fit for the next time he goes to Des Moines.

Hi Momma!

Peek-A-Boo!

Fun with the Schoenbeck Girls

I know it's been a while since our last update.  Here are some pictures from our latest adventures.  The girls are continuously keeping us entertained!  How could we ask for more?

Elsa's big smile.

Inga dressed herself.  Not the outfit I would choose but...I guess it could be worse!

Elsa playing around in the tub.

Inga got into the sunscreen one morning.  I guess she's excited for summer to get here.  Me too!

Naptime?

No pictures for this post, but you will be grateful of that after you read!

Today I went to put Inga down for her nap.  I got her all tucked in with her cup of water when I looked at all the stuffed animals on her bed.  I noticed there was something feathery there and I couldn't remember how she would have gotten a fake bird.  I went to pick it up to see what it looked like and realized it was a real bird...only dead!!!  I made Jason come up and get it out of the bed.  That's why we women get married, right?!  Apparently Emma killed it and buried it under the stuffed animals for us to find later.  There was a small pool of dried blood under its head that I have washed three times and it still won't go away.  Any suggestions?
