Elsa Laughing

I love this video!

Elsa

We have a few other videos of Elsa but they wouldn't load.  We'll have to try again later.  Until then, enjoy this one!

Girls' Weekend

Jason had Guard Duty this past weekend so it was just the girls at home.  I took the time to take pictures of the girls.  I love all the time I have with them and it just amazes me to see how much they love each other!  They are certainly growing up too fast.

This has to be my favorite picture of the weekend.  I wanted to get a picture of Elsa's tummy.  It's such a cute little tummy.  Just as the camera flashed, though, she grabbed her feet and I was lucky enough to capture her tiny, beautiful feet and hand.

Happy to see Momma!

Inga taking a picture of me taking a picture of her.  Make sense?  Good!

CHEESE!

A big toothless grin!  How precious is that?

Bath Night

Well, it was another bath night at the Schoenbeck house.  (We only do this once a month...kidding)  Anyway, Elsa is loving bath time lately and on this particular night Inga discovered her bath robe.  Once she put it on, she didn't want to take it off.  She even slept in it that night!

Little smiley Elsa.

Can you ever get enough of her smile?  We can't!

Inga's robe.  She wouldn't even let us take the hood off.

Inga and Elsa all ready for bed.

Go Hawkeyes!

We tried getting a picture of both of the girls with their Iowa shirts on for the big bowl game on New Year's Day.  You can guess how that went!  We got some good pictures of them each by themselves but Inga was very uncooperative when it came to being in the picture with her little sister!

Inga and Elsa in their Iowa shirts.  Inga grumping and Elsa smiling...pretty normal these days!

Inga helping me change the sheets.  She mostly runs around on the bed while I try to maneuver the sheets under her feet.  She paused a moment for me to get a picture of her with her hair in a ponytail.  First time!  We barely got it up but it stayed for a while.

GO HAWKS!!!

We're gonna fight, fight, fight, for IOWA!

Our Friend Brekin

No pictures with this post but if you follow the link you'll see a clip from Good Morning America. Our little friend Brekin is the last boy in the series of video clips.  He had heart surgery in December and is doing great now.  He's such a little miracle!

New Year's Eve

We hosted our annual New Year's Eve party only this year the number of adults doubled and the number of kids multiplied by three!  Last year we had four adults and two and a half  kids...this year, eight adults and six and a half kids!  It was a great time and the kids all played together so well.  A couple of them even stayed up until midnight.  (Way to go Gracie and Inga)  The games we played were men against women and the women won each time!  Wahoo!  We must be getting old because everyone was gone shortly after midnight.  At least we all had fun, right?

Addison, Inga, and Gracie all snuggled up in our bed to watch "Mary Poppins".
